Legal Administrator/ Assistant


Brighton



Salary dependent on experience



Our well-established client is seeking a Legal Administrator/Assistant to join their busy Private Client and Litigation department based at their Brighton office.



The successful applicant will have good experience of working in a busy administrative office.



Duties will include:



Communicating with clients, solicitors, and other parties by telephone, in person and in writing and by email. Diary management, dealing with internal and external bookings and keeping the diaries of fee earners in an orderly and efficient state. Driving the administrative management of files, including opening and closing files. File compliance administration, ensuring that files are maintained in a regulation and policy compliant manner from opening to closure. Drafting legal documents. Liaising with clients by telephone and in person. Conducting client due diligence checks. Providing over all support to several solicitors (private client and litigation)




The ideal candidate;



To be successful in your application, you will possess the following attributes:



Customer service experience is key Sales experience would be advantageous Friendly and approachable with enthusiasm Flexibility and patience Excellent eye for detail Highly organised and able to prioritise, working on multiple tasks at one time Initiative Good written and verbal communication skills Experience of working within a Solicitors firm would be beneficial Qualifications in Law preferred * Strong IT skills
