Role: Legal Advisor

Location: London - we offer a mixture of office, remote and home working!

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Legal Advisor to be a part of our amazing Legal Team here at Gousto! Reporting into our General Counsel, you will be part of a small but mighty team of three. The role will offer exciting depth and breadth supporting teams and stakeholders across the entirety of Gousto, therefore this role will suit someone that is ambitious and highly motivated!

If you are a Legal professional looking to build or move into their first in house legal role this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on a wide range of legal issues across the business
• Drafting and negotiating contracts as well as a wide range of commercial terms
• Work closely with the current legal team to ensure stakeholder and teams are following current ways of working and processes
• Be the point of contact for external legal counsel and manage associated costs
• Build relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business including Tech, Operations and Business
• Work collaboratively with the current legal team to share knowledge on areas that may not be within your main expertise

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Passionate about working in a high growth, fast paced, Tech driven environment
• Qualified in England and Wales
• 0 - 2 years post qualification experience, we are passionate about finding someone with a great attitude & keen to learn in a fast paced envrionment
• Ideally you will have some experience working in-house, maybe on secondment or placement
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and commercial terms
• Experience resolving basic legal queries
• Ability to translate and summarise complex legal matters into sensible commercial proposals
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Clear and confident communicator
• Ready to get stuck in
