Legal Administrator (part Time, Fixed Term / Secondment)

Job Description

Our Legal team is growing - we have an exciting new opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join our Legal team, based in our central Birmingham office, on a part-time Fixed-term / Secondment basis for approx. 12 months. Within this role, the focus is to deliver a customer focussed legal service, and, primarily, to support the team in defending Disrepair legal claims.



You'll join a small team of Disrepair Administrators providing support across a range of administrative tasks for the Disrepair Legal Team, using a high level of organisation and accuracy.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Preparing high quality correspondence and legal documents for our Solicitors in preparation for court.



Monitoring cases and ensuring that all statutory and internal deadlines are met effectively.



Maintaining inboxes, diaries and trackers.



Processing invoices.

Our ideal candidate? This role would suit a personable individual who is highly organised and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll also demonstrate the following skills and experience:



Previous legal administrative experience including preparation of court bundles, letter drafting, diary management of a team of legal professionals, managing inboxes and responding to stakeholders queries/enquiries.



Experience of using Excel to manage spreadsheets and input data.



Ability to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.



Knowledge of Disrepair cases and/or legal principals is beneficial but not essential!



Due to the nature of the administrative support required by the Disrepair Legal team, you can expect to the working from our Birmingham, Bath Row office alongside our Solicitors/Legal Assistants.
