We are looking for someone to provide support mainly for our Litigation team but also to our Private Client and Property teams. You may also have to provide Reception and General Office cover.
You be responsible for administrative tasks and you may also undertake research, drafting work, and other legal work on a wide variety of matters.

What You Will be Doing
Assisting with a variety of legal matters, under the supervision of experienced lawyers.
Communicating with clients, solicitors, and other parties by telephone, in person and in writing and by email.
Diary management, dealing with internal and external bookings and keeping the diaries of fee earners in an orderly and efficient state.
Driving the administrative management of files, including opening and closing files.
File compliance administration, ensuring that files are maintained in a regulatory and policy compliant manner from opening to closure.
Providing top quality service to new and existing clients.
Undertaking limited legal research.

What We're Looking For From You
Some experience as a legal or office assistant or some English law legal training such as an English Law degree
An interest in the law and providing excellent service to clients.

This role is not suitable for home working. You will be based in our office in central Brighton.
