As we continue to expand, we're looking to welcome a dedicated Accounts Assistant to our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys supporting both financial and administrative functions within a legal environment.
Working closely with the Accounts Manager and the Assistant Practice Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our back-office functions. Your work will directly support the legal team in maintaining efficient administrative & financial processes, contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Initial Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Accounts Manager with:
- Inputting supplier invoices into our case management system.
- Checking payment slips against the ledger before sending for payment.
- Identifying discrepancies & highlighting to Accounts Manager.
- Ensuring files have no client residual balances.
- Reconciling search payments.
- Monitor post completion payments.
Liaising with the Assistant Practice Manager to support:
- Archiving and records management.
- Reconciling land registry payments.
- Confidential filing & record maintenance.
