Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Finance department, including:
Performing general daily accounts duties.
Managing the purchase ledger process, which includes input, coding, scanning, and processing of invoices.
Preparing weekly payment runs and liaising with suppliers as necessary.
Processing expenses and company credit card transactions.
Preparing monthly management accounts MI reporting.
Conducting daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Assisting with ad hoc accounts duties to support the Accounts team.
Providing support for daily legal cashiering duties and offering holiday cover for the cashiering team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant finance position.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office.
