Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified So-cial Worker to join Locality Team in Leeds city council .

It\'s for locality team, CIN, CP and through court proceedings.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Holding a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Need
• Undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17
• Undertaking Core Assessments under Section 47
• Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47
• Undertaking Parenting Assessments
• Undertaking Risk Assessments
• Completion of Section 7 and 37 reports requested by Family Courts where needed
• Providing Section 17 support to families and children in need
• Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
• Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs
• Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
• Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
• Initiating and implementing Child Protection Plans

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience as a social worker within childrens services
• Social Work England Registration
• Driving license and access to own vehicle
