About the Role:
The Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine & Social Care is the largest faculty in the university and constantly pursues innovative approaches to develop and deliver curricula to meet the ever-changing educational needs of the Health and Social Care workforce. Our faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, from foundation degrees to doctoral study.
We\xe2\x80\x99re recruiting for a Lecturer Practitioner to join our practice learning team. They will provide practice learning support for students having placements in the Private, Voluntary and Independent sector. The post holder will work with placement providers to ensure systems and processes are in place to support student learning opportunities and practice assessment in placement settings. The post holder may need to act as a practice supervisor or practice assessor for students in Private, Independent and Voluntary placement settings. The post holder will be required to travel to visit students in a range of locations and placement settings, in order to provide support to students and clinical staff support ARU students.
With a degree or relevant professional qualification, and significant clinical experience and ongoing evidence of CPD, you will also hold a current registration with the UK NMC as a nurse. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have extensive experience of contemporary clinical practice and / or clinical education, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to think innovatively and be able to meet deadlines.
