Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Lecturer within our successful and forward-looking Engineering team. This is an opportunity to join a department that is investing in the future, with access to cutting edge equipment and continuous CPD.
We are seeking a mechanical engineering lecturer to cover practical and theoretical engineering content predominantly for Level 1 to Level 3 for both apprentices and full-time learners. The successful candidate will have industrial and teaching experience of turning, milling and CNC operations. It is desirable to have experience of manufacturing processes and mechanical maintenance.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold a Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and desirable to hold a Higher National or Degree in Engineering.
- Have Industrial experience in turning and milling
- Have a willingness to impart industrial knowledge to the next generation of Engineers
- Hold a relevant Teaching Qualification or Assessors Award (or be willing to achieve within a set period from appointment)
