About the College
Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role
We currently have an opening for a Lecturer in Audio Visual \xe2\x80\x93 Hourly Paid
The Lecturer in Audio Visual is responsible for a caseload of learners participating primarily on the Level 5 Audio Visual Technician Apprenticeship. You will use your professional expertise to support learners to achieve their KSBs and to prepare and support learners through to End Point Assessment.
You will plan and carry out classroom online teaching using a range of assessment methods. You will measure a candidate\'s progress, giving them advice and guidance, setting tasks and offering 1-2-1 support. You will actively support, mentor and motivate learners throughout their apprenticeship journey and will play a key role in ensuring the timely completion of the Audio- Visual Technician Level 5 Apprenticeship Standard.
The successful candidate will have:
Teaching qualification or willing working towards.
L6 Audio Visual qualification or relevant experience \xe2\x80\x93 Essential.
Good understanding of Integrated Audio-Visual Systems \xe2\x80\x93 Essential.
Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT or willing to work towards.
