The Role
We are looking for a lecturer to contribute to the significant continued growth and success of the Department of Psychology. The team here is diverse, enthusiastic, engaged and driven and we look forward to welcoming you to the department. The successful applicant will play key roles in supporting psychology provision in both teaching and research - both equally valued here. There is considerable scope to advance your own lines of research and applied work in collaboration with colleagues from a variety of disciplines in the University, including work with colleagues in social and human sciences as well as working with the substantial facilities provided by the university\'s innovation centre. We work closely with the BPS and are very familiar with how our accreditation helps us develop the courses and as such, we would welcome applications in all areas of Psychology, but on this occasion particularly from those with expertise in Developmental Psychology, Cognition and/or individual differences. The Head of Department would be very pleased to arrange an informal discussion ahead of an application in all cases. Applications from psychologists with a PhD, a good and developing publishing record are welcomed.
