Leading the Service team to support the Transport systems and services in the resolution of service related and management issues, ensuring appropriate technical prioritisation.
Lead the overall release schedule, maintaining a horizon view of any disruption and reacting accordingly. Oversee the completion of all readiness activities for implementing multi-platform changes into the digital and non-digital channels, ensuring a clear schedule of events is agreed and all governance requirements are met.
This is a senior leadership level role and will blend both technical expertise with great passion for coaching and developing people including advocation for team wellbeing. Accountability for defining policy and standards specific to role, ensuring compliance in line with appropriate risk and budget management.
What you\'ll do
?Lead a significant portion of the organisation\'s risk management and/ or control process.
Develop and/ or deliver budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
Take ownership for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department.
Identify shortcomings and implement appropriate improvements to existing platform practices.
Provide input into the development of IT Security policies, develop underlying procedures and monitor your implementation.
Manage the development and/ or operation of knowledge management systems
Set longer term objectives and take ownership for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation.
What you\'ll need
Great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information, up to and including senior stakeholders.
An ability to build close working relationships with stakeholders and supporting teams.
Knowledge of the Snow Application.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to document and present complex data.
Strong people management and leadership experience.
Experienced in IT Service Management, Service Engineering and Release Management
