We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP YOI Foston Hall, a women\'s closed category Prison and Young Offenders Institution located in Derby.HoursThe site currently offers a 3 long days with hours between 7am -8:30pm ( shifts can be discussed with successful candidates)SalaryThis position is full time, you\'ll receive an annual salary up to \xc2\xa344,100 per annum - depending on experience.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks\xe2\x80\x9dWhat you\'ll be doingYou will be a qualified Registered Pharmacist- BSc or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Pharmacy, holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will have a real passion for developing your Pharmaceutical skills and those of your team.As a Lead Senior Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
  • You\'ll be responsible for the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. Working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team, you\'ll be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations.
  • The role involves providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners
  • You will lead a team of support staff and work closely with a range of clinicians and non-clinicians from Primary Care, Mental Health, and other health partners in ensuring effective delivery of pharmacy services.
