Lead Renal Technician
Job Description
The lead renal technologist manages technical operations for all aspects of dialysis including the home dialysis program. The role will support in running the renal technical service by providing leadership in assigned areas, working closely with clinicians and nursing management to support Trust in delivering better care. You must possess a full UK (Manual) driving licence. Able to use fine tools for equipment adjustment/assembly.
Able to handle medium loads within safe limits. Able to concentrate for long periods to allow accurate working Able to deal with emotionally challenging circumstances when working in clinical areas (e.g. when visiting wards and homes fault finding on patient connected equipment). Able to train groups of professional staff & patients in the use of medical equipment Able to deal with complex and unpredictable situations Able to motivate colleagues and act with confident authority when the situation requires.
