THE ROLE

An outstanding opportunity to join as Lead Knowledge Lawyer within the firm\'s renowned Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group.

The role\'s main responsibilities are to create and make easily available first-class industry, client, market and related legal knowledge to the Group and its lawyers, clients, BD and client teams in order to generate client demand for the Firm\'s services and to develop the firm\'s lawyers as sector-focussed commercial advisors.

This role has an external rather than an internal focus and is one where your clients are the Group\'s steering committee, key partners and lawyers.

Your day-to-day project assignments and overall direction will be based on the Group\'s Business Plan and the Group KM Plan derived from that, as well as direction from the Group\'s chair and steering committee, and the Director of Knowledge for Industries and Clients.

Working collaboratively with the Group\'s BD Lead and Clients Team Lead are key relationships.

You should ensure that you are highly visible, and have strong relationships with key stakeholders, in the market in which you are based as well as within the Group more broadly.

You will liaise closely with other members of the Professional and Business Services team - especially within the Knowledge function and your Group\'s BD and Client Teams - to ensure that Knowledge projects and initiatives are carried out consistently with the Firm\'s overall business.

THE CANDIDATE

A commercially and business minded lawyer with at least 10pqe, you will have had some involvement in TMT and/or related commercial areas.

Your experience may have been gained as a fee earner or professional support lawyer in private practice, as an in house legal adviser. or from a regulator or public sector organisation.

You will possess a journalistic style ability to write engaging sales enablement and client facing content for lawyers and clients with a commercial focus that drives demand

You will have experience working directly with senior counterparts on strategy and execution

Training development and delivery experience would be a bonus
