Brief Description

We are looking for 2 Lead Internal Auditors for a Permanent opportunity (full time) based in London Waterloo General Offices or Milton Keynes. The purpose of this role is to lead and deliver planned internal audit assignments focusing on a wide range of subjects, such as: safety, health, asset management, environment, and significant change programmes.

The successful candidate will need to hold a professional qualification such as qualified accountant ( ACA, CIMA,ACCA) or IIA or have relevant up to date operational experience. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills - written and verbal, including report writing. Experience in applying data analytics to provide audit insights is desirable. You will be a team player but at the same time able to take the lead when it is appropriate to do so and have experience leading teams in a global management consultancy, professional services firm, or a large matrix organization with an internal audit or consulting background. We also welcome applicants from the utilities and construction sectors. You will also need to have the ability to utilise core risk and controls skills in a broad range of projects both in traditional internal audits and advisory projects aimed at assisting in the implementation of controls / improvements.
