Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment before and after procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment plans and addressing any concerns. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and ensure they understand their follow-up care. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the practice. Uphold strict hygiene and infection control protocols at all times. Implantology and sedation experience preferred.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or experience in a similar role. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. A caring attitude towards patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 24 per week
