We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our dynamic delivery team.
As a Lead Business Analyst you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and process improvement initiatives within Mulberry. You will bridge the gap between Mulberry business needs and solutions by overseeing the gathering, analysing and documenting of the business requirements, facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders whilst providing the expertise and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Within your role you will also be responsible for managing a small team of Analysts and maintaining the quality of the team output.
Your role will be instrumental in shaping and driving the success of our organisation by maintaining a high performing analysis team who deliverer value orientated, efficient and effective technology solutions that align to our business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and Coach
\xc2\xb7 Champion the Business Analyst role within Mulberry and run the Mulberry Business Analysis Community of Practice.
\xc2\xb7 Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
\xc2\xb7 Lead and manage the end-to-end business analysis processes including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis and solution design across multiple projects and multiple teams.
\xc2\xb7 Be responsible for the quality of the entire analysis team outputs.
Project Management Office Support
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the Head of Delivery and PMO to provide Analysis resource estimates.
\xc2\xb7 Assist project managers in defining project scope, objectives and value orientated deliverables, whilst ensuring alignment with business goals.
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop project plans, timelines and milestones, track progress and identify and mitigate any risks and issues within different methodology frameworks. Provide detailed reports across the projects on the progress of the analysis tasks and efforts.
Business Requirements Gathering
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with Stakeholders including subject matter experts, our business colleagues, project managers, product managers, internal technical and 3rd party technical teams to identify and document detailed business requirements. Ensure that these are accurate, complete and aligned with Mulberry\'s strategic goals.
\xc2\xb7 Prioritise and validate these business requirements and objectives.
Analysis
\xc2\xb7 Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes, systems and workflows to identify areas of improvement and optimisation. Identify and communicate risks, issues, constraints and dependencies across the projects.
\xc2\xb7 Define and document business rules, use cases and user stories to support the development and testing phases of projects.
Solution Design and Documentation
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications, including system workflows, data models, use cases and user interface designs.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure that the analysis documentation is up to date, well organised and accessible to relevant stakeholders and technical teams and that it adheres to Mulberry levels of quality.
\xc2\xb7 Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate potential solutions and provide recommendations to senior management.
Stakeholder Management
\xc2\xb7 Act as the bridge between senior business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication, managing stakeholder expectations and fostering collaboration.
\xc2\xb7 Understand stakeholder needs and be the advocate for those solutions that align with Mulberry business objectives. Be responsible for obtaining business approval for any changes.
\xc2\xb7 Lead and facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations and analysis updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Testing and Quality Assurance
\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the development of test plans, test cases and quality assurance activities to ensure the delivered solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with testing teams to validate system functionality, performance and usability.
Delivery and Support
\xc2\xb7 Oversee the progress of the Analysis Team\'s business change requests through Operations and be responsible for ensuring that any of the Analysis Team changes are captured and reflected within the established business process flows whilst safeguarding and maintaining the quality of the outputs.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure that support documentation is written and projects are formally handed over to the support team.
Continuous Improvement
\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices related to business analysis and technical solutions.
\xc2\xb7 Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and enhanced system functionality to drive business efficiency and innovation.
\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of the commercial impact of any recommendations, insights and changes.

Skills and Knowledge Required:
\xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Business Analyst in a Technology driven environment.
\xc2\xb7 Established ability to lead a large team and be responsible for the quality of their outputs
\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical thinker, with logical reasoning and skilled at problem solving.
\xc2\xb7 Sufficient at working to tight deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
\xc2\xb7 Confident in challenging the status quo.
\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of business processes, systems and technologies.
\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation techniques, such as user stories, use cases and process flow diagrams.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to analyse complex business problems, translate them into technical solutions and communicate detailed analysis outcomes and solutions.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of SQL, Data Analysis and reporting tools.
\xc2\xb7 Certification in Business Analysis and Agile Methodologies is a plus.
