About the Role:

We have a great opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join the dynamic Regional Talent team and contribute to the success of Ferrero in the UK, while continuously enhancing their professional expertise through extensive learning.

Main Responsibilities:

In your role you will manage the complete training life cycle from start to finish for Alfreton operations staff and office employees, which includes being the key contact for employee training requests, arranging the logistics efficiently for in-house and virtual training and liaising with external providers.

You will work with the Industrial HR team and plant line managers is crucial for competency assessments and to support the development needs as well as process improvements.

You will Support with finding new training solutions, providers and ideas for developing talent and to grant compliance.

You will provide insight for process improvement across the learning and development lifecycle, proposing any improvement, efficiencies in the current processes and whenever required to answer business needs.

You will manage the coordination and tracking of statutory and mandatory trainings to meet legislative and internal requirements, ensuring compliance with internal procurement standards and processes while staying updated on any changes.

You will manage the Learning Management System with regular data updates

You will support with the development and deployment of the Apprenticeships where required,

Other responsibilities include communicating on the training offerings and Ferrero development processes locally, be responsible for the training budget and spending monitoring ensuring as well payment process for providers, produce reports associated with KPIs such as budget, learning hours, when required.

Who we are looking for:

As the Learning and Development Coordinator, you should possess proven experience in L&D, preferably within the consumer goods industry. Essential is hands-on experience in L&D specific to manufacturing operations. Your role demands exceptional communication skills, fostering relationships that instill trust and confidence, coupled with a genuine passion for employee learning, development, and education.
Being data-driven, adept with technology and digital tools, organized, and detail-oriented are essential traits. Confidence in budget management and overseeing training expenditures is imperative.
Your core skills should encompass proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and SAP, along with knowledge of the Success Factor Learning Management system. An understanding of the learning lifecycle, coupled with proficiency in training design and capability assessment, is crucial.
Experience should extend to coordinating training plans and tailoring L&D solutions, showcasing critical thinking and a process improvement orientation. Familiarity with digital/e-learning content development is expected, and some exposure to a global/multi-national environment is desired. A degree in Human Resources or a related field underpins your qualifications for this role.
Languages: Proficiency in written and spoken English
