Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to represent clients effectively in various civil and commercial litigation matters. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail. Most of our work is high profile or has an international element to it. If you have a client following that would be advantageous, this is an opportunity to be a director at a boutique international law firm that has worked in more than 25 countries.

Duties

Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of civil, criminal, commercial issues. Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal matters. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings. Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes. Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications. Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff as needed. Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal practices.

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a valid practising certificate. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience in a civil , cr and commercial litigation law. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 10,000.00-30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
