Please only apply for this role if you have worked in a FinCrime or Law Enforcement role.
About us:
We\'re here to make money work for everyone and we\'re doing things differently. For too long, banking has been obtuse, complex and opaque. We want to change that and build a bank with everyone, for everyone. Our amazing community suggests features, test the app and give us constant feedback so we can build something everyone loves.
We\'re focused on solving problems, rather than selling financial products. We want to make the world a better place and change people\'s lives through Monzo.
About our Law Enforcement Team:
At Monzo, we tackle financial crime through our specialised Pillars, with each focusing on specific business areas, risks, or typologies, including business banking, money laundering, fraud, bribery and corruption, law enforcement & complex investigations, politically exposed persons and sanctions, and tax evasion, to name a few.
Law Enforcement Investigators are key to our strategy within financial crime operations. The team is responsible for responding to requests for information from Law Enforcement and other public agencies including the National Crime Agency, Department of Work & Pensions and the Serious Fraud Office. Our team also monitors accounts that are subject to Restraint or Freezing Orders issued under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, prepare witness statements for court and carry out reviews of high risk accounts.
We are looking for Law Enforcement Investigators who love fighting financial crime and learning new skills to join our team, and help Monzo make money work for everyone.
