Valet Laundry Services

requires a laundry attendant at Work West Centre, 301 Glen Road, Belfast. BT11 8BU.

Opening hours Monday - Thursday 8.00am -5.00pm, Friday 8.00am- 2.30pm. Longer opening hours during summer months and busy periods, to include Saturday shifts.

Manager

Main Responsibilities:

The purpose of the job is to assist with the general tasks required in a busy laundry environment. The main role will be to work on commercial rollers/ironers to process table-linen and bed-linen or to assist with ironing or in the wash room. To ensure that the laundry room is kept clean & tidy when carrying out tasks to ensure a safe environment in which to work. To work as part of a team to maintain an efficient flow of work through the laundry. To comply with statutory Health & Safety requirements within the laundry.
Candidates must be willing to carry out any duties that may be required in a busy laundry environment. Applicants who are skilled at ironing shirts and personal clothing preferred.

Work Experience

Laundry experience not essential.

Experience of working in a busy production environment beneficial.
