We currently have vacancies for a proactive Laser Operative to join our team

Responsibilities:

Work in accordance with Wilmott Group procedures and bespoke systems Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records Adhere to all company policies and procedures Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients Inspect parts and materials using a variety of inspection methods Follow and interpret technical drawings and nest sheets Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work areas Use engineering measuring tools (e.g. Verniers, callipers, micrometres) Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery Inspect and check materials before production Handle materials safely for transport to other departments Clean and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production Meet tight deadlines and productivity targets Report issues, delays, or concerns promptly Support other departments with general duties when required Comply with all health & safety procedures and report any hazards Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times

Key Skills & Attributes:

Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Competent in using engineering measurement equipment Team-oriented with strong communication skills Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Flexible and willing to support various departments as needed Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
