Each summer, we upgrade and prepare our locations ready for our residents. As part of the summer team, you will be assisting the on-site team get our vibrant and modern accommodation prepared and in great shape to welcome our students in September.

The Role: Painter & Decorator

Working Hours: Shifts Mon-Fri between 0800-2000

Contract Length: 3-4 weeks

Rate of Pay: 13.95

Location: Preston

• Working as part of the dedicated on-site team to make sure the students who stay with us always feel at home

• You will be ensuring that the location remains safe and is always looking its best, by providing a high standard of decoration to the buildings, grounds, and equipment

• Undertaking decoration tasks to a high quality including painting, moving and installing furniture as well as ensuring outdoor areas are clear and well maintained.

• Working closely with on-site teams and external contractors

• Logging maintenance requests, H&S hazards and stock requests as required

What are we looking for?

• People who are dedicated to working safely, and to the highest possible standard at all times

• Experience in undertaking painting, decorating and light maintenance tasks in homes or business buildings

• Able to work in a safe and compliant manner

• Flexible and able to work shifts between Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays

• Always willing to go above and beyond to solve a problem
