Job Description
Introduction As an Arla Laboratory Trainee at our Settle Creamery, you will analyse and evaluate products and materials to ensure that quality and approved analysis standards are met. Following a significant investment in the site in 2021 and a subsequent expansion in the team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a key part in turning the raw milk into our great products ready for packing.
So what do our Laboratory Trainee actually do?
- As an Laboratory Trainee, you will be integral to site operations
- Conducting tests to analyse products and materials
- Interpreting results of analyses and escalating non-conformance issues as required
- Communicating results to relevant departments
- Ensuring that instrumentation is functioning and that calibrated and verified methods are used
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need in order to be successful in the role
- A strong sense of professional integrity and a passion for producing high quality work
- An attention to detail to ensure all recording is 100% accurate
- The ability to communicate effectively with external and internal teams
- Laboratory experience is not essential as all training for the role is provided
