This role will assist in delivering our 5x5 strategy for growth, including leading, shaping and delivering all activities related to client requirements, ensuring that quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, productivity and profitability are maximised.

Required skills and experience:

• HND or degree or equivalent work experience in relevant subject area
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to audience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Willing to be \xe2\x80\x9chands on\xe2\x80\x9d working at all levels
• A can do attitude with good problem identification and solving skills
• Highly proficient in computer programs such as MS Office
• Flexible approach to working hours

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

• Daily workload of the laboratory is performed efficiently and effectively in accordance with both approved technical standards and client instructions
• Sample and analyse various systems onsite to enable safe and efficient operation of the terminal and conformity to specifications
• Perform sampling, analysis and report results as required and in accordance with procedures
• Perform non-routine laboratory work as dictated by operational needs
• Deputise in the absence of the Laboratory Supervisor
• Assist in audits to ensure compliance with any local systems, rules and procedures, including any Quality Assurance Standards (UKAS, ISO 17025, etc) set by the Company and/or external certification authorities and ensure that appropriate quality assurance controls are carried out on a regular basis within the Department
