Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Supervisor Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the technicians and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about material testing and committed to maintaining high standards of quality control in a laboratory environment.

Duties

Overseeing daily testing operations and lead, motivate and support to a team of technicians.

Carrying out daily calibrations.

Ensuring all tests are undertaken according to current test methods/standards and ensuring laboratory staff are following the procedures

Assisting with the currency of test methods

Performing and assisting with testing as and when needed in the Laboratory.

Assisting with the calibration of equipment.

Train new staff members

Carrying out in-house QA & technical audits and typing them up.

Ensuring all Technical staff training records are kept up to date at all times.

An eye for detail and be thorough in their work.

Helping and typing up reports

To work autonomously and as part of a small team, work under pressure and understand industry specifications.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Exceptional communication skills to effectively guide and support team members.
