Lab Manager
Job Description
We are recruiting for a Lab Manager on behalf of a large global nutrition group operating in 32 countries with leading market positions in sports nutrition, cheese, dairy ingredients, speciality non-dairy ingredients and vitamin and mineral premixes. This role will be based at their Craigavon site.
The Role
The role will be based at the Craigavon site working within the Quality department. The successful candidate will plan, monitor and co-ordinate all activities associated with Laboratory Management, compiling data and reports regarding company performance against established indicators. The role also includes the management of the quality assurance activities associated with the co-products: whey, whey cream and sweet cream.
The Person
\xc2\xb7 Degree Level or equivalent qualification in Food Science/Technology or related Field.
\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years\' experience in Food manufacturing.
\xc2\xb7 At least one year\'s experience as a department supervisor or manager.
\xc2\xb7 Able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of quality management/ laboratory management systems and their application.
