Laboratory Analyst - Refresco UK, Bridgwater (Just off J23 of the M5) - Days only, 4 on 4 off

Refresco, the world\'s largest independent soft drinks manufacturer, is seeking a Laboratory Analyst at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Bridgewater, Somerset. About the Role

You will report to the Lab Manager, and work as part of a focused quality team with a team of 12+. Your role as Laboratory Analyst will support the quality improvement and right-first-time agenda so that products are legally manufactured and compliant with customer specifications.

Here are your key duties & responsibilities as a Laboratory analyst at Refresco Bridgwater:

• Data entry - inputting data onto in-house systems, Excel etc.
• Conducting product testing - training provided.
• Collating and trending accurate data as appropriate
• Sample and test materials as required - this includes raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
• Interpret testing results and react to any out of specification results in a timely manner using the defined processes.
• Support and partake in investigations as required
• Conduct trend analysis on micro & analytical results and provide reports as required
• Conduct internal audits and GMP audits of the immediate work area, and hygiene related audits of the wider factory
• Manage the incubator and retained storage areas, assessing products as required
• Conduct regular hygiene protocols as per schedule

About You

This role is ideal if you are looking to start your career in a food quality or food hygiene-related role. You might be a recent Graduate with relevant qualifications or someone with data entry experience, looking for something more varied.

Food safety and hygiene-related qualifications would be highly desirable for this role, but these can be acquired in-house. If you have a good understanding of microns, food quality, or food safety, this would be advantageous.
