KS1 teacher responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour
• Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and initiatives
• Attend staff meetings and training as required by the school
• Engage with parents and carers to support the learning and development of their children

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience as a KS1 teacher
• A passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Understanding of effective behaviour management strategies, including Restorative Practice
• Experience in planning and delivering engaging and effective cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
