Wayman Education, a leading recruitment agency in the UK with over two decades of experience in the education sector, is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join a highly regarded school in Hackney starting from October. The successful candidate for this KS1 teacher position will play a vital role in shaping the minds of the next generation and will have the opportunity to join a dynamic, energetic and supportive team that is dedicated to providing a world-class learning experience to their pupils. KS1 teacher responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that meet the needs of the pupils.
• Provide a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment that encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and adapt teaching materials to be in line with it.
• Assess, record and report on pupils\' progress regularly and in line with school guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice, resources and ideas.
• Provide effective pastoral care and guidance to pupils, including supporting their social and emotional wellbeing.
• Attend and participate in CPD and staff meetings to develop teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• A valid PGCE qualification and QTS certificate.
• At least two years of experience teaching KS1 pupils in a UK setting.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an outstanding learning experience for pupils.
• Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
