Responsibilities

Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in presentation and taste. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members. Conduct regular training sessions for kitchen staff on best practices in food safety, cooking methods, and customer service. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain kitchen operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong background in cooking and food preparation, with a passion for culinary arts. Proven ability to manage a team effectively, demonstrating excellent supervisory skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations.
