Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant

Are you interested in joining us for our 2025 season and working on the stunning west coast of Scotland? We are looking for hard working and fun loving individuals or couples to join our team from the end of April working through to 1 st October.

Our ideal applicants will have prior experience we will however be delighted to consider applicants without experience as full training will be provided.

You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the hotel kitchens are clean, tidy and maintained to a high standard at all times and within the designated time frames.

Scourie Hotel is a family run hotel located on the North Coast 500 route approximately 45 miles north of Ullapool. Our award winning hotel has 21 bedrooms as well as two separate bars and dining operations. Guests come from far and wide to enjoy fishing on some of Scotland's finest wild brown trout waters, the breathtaking scenery and some of the UK's most picturesque beaches.

The role of Kitchen Porter is varied and to a greater or lesser extent will include:

Dish & Pot Washing Cleaning & Maintaining the hotel's Kitchens. Sorting deliveries

What we offer

An hourly rate of 12.50 plus a share of tips. Typical hours are 48 per week and may involve split shifts. Staff tips are pooled and shared between the employees as part of their final pay.

Accommodation will be provided to successful candidates.

We provide breakfast and/or evening meals whilst on duty with employees expected to cater for themselves whilst off duty over lunch.
