We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment where your contributions will be highly valued.As a Kitchen Porter at Balfes, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include supporting our chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our kitchen.Responsibilities:Wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors and surfaces, are clean and hygienic.
Assist with the organization and storage of kitchen inventory.
Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with hotel policies.
Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
