Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and kitchen staff. Help maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed within the kitchen environment. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Keep floors clean and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. A basic understanding of food hygiene practices is beneficial. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others in the kitchen. A passion for culinary arts and an interest in pursuing a career within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
