St Edward\'s Oxford is looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our Catering Department. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the hospitality sector, developing key skills and experience in a fast-paced environment. Our Catering Department manages a diverse events calendar which includes charity balls, boarding house dinners, fine dining and catering for sports and summer schools. As a Kitchen Porter, you will work across the pot wash, food delivery, stores and kitchen areas, assisting with the preparation of food and the cleaning of all areas and heavy equipment. Additional service, clearing and kitchen duties will also be required, including plate washing and the checking and unpacking of deliveries. You will possess strong verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work as part of a team and independently. Previous experience in a catering role is desirable, but not essential and full training will be provided in the first month of employment.
