Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies. Support chefs during busy service periods by preparing ingredients as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment. Assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is highly valued. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff. A passion for food preparation and cooking is advantageous. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
