Job Description

As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo Royal Stoke University Hospital, Newcastle-under-Lyme, you will play a vital role in guaranteeing our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting the serving of our vibrant meals and ensuring that all work areas are clean and tidy. What you\'ll do:

• Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
• Ensure that pots, crookery, and utensils are properly washed and stored.
• Ensure pot wash area and machinery is kept clean
• Serve and replenish food from counters and steamtables and break down stations at the end of meal periods
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment

What you bring:

• Cheerful outlook, professionalism and respect for others
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
• Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential, as long as you are willing to learn.
• No previous work experience required

• 35 hours per week
• Working: 4 on 4 off 10hr shifts
• \xc2\xa37.09 - \xc2\xa310.90 per hour (age dependant)
