Kitchen Porter

to support our chefs and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Job Purpose:

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment. You'll be responsible for cleaning equipment, washing dishes, and assisting with basic food preparation to help the kitchen operate efficiently and to high hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and waste areas Assist chefs with basic food prep when required Receive and store deliveries safely and in line with food safety standards Handle and dispose of waste and recycling appropriately Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards consistently Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly Work effectively with chefs and the wider F&B team

About You:

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment Good timekeeping and reliability A team player with a willingness to learn Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential--training is provided Knowledge of basic food hygiene is desirable
