Kitchen Porter
, you'll be an essential part of our back-of-house team, keeping the kitchen spotless and running smoothly so our chefs can focus on serving up exceptional Japanese dishes. If you're reliable, hardworking, and eager to be part of something new, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using our commercial dishwasher or by hand. Keep kitchen areas--including floors, counters, storage areas, and sinks--clean, safe, and well-organised. Collect and correctly dispose of rubbish, food waste, and recycling throughout the shift. Assist with unpacking deliveries and keeping storage areas tidy and stocked. Support the kitchen team with light prep work and day-to-day kitchen tasks when needed. Maintain high standards of hygiene and follow all food safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a similar role is great, but not essential--we'll provide training. A strong work ethic and the ability to stay focused in a busy environment. Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods. A commitment to keeping things clean, safe, and efficient.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
