Duties

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs. Help in the storage and organisation of kitchen supplies and ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Support the cooking staff during busy periods by providing assistance as needed. Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations. Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary work is key. A basic understanding of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business.
