Duties

Assist in the preparation of food items under the guidance of chefs and cooks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients. Support chefs during busy service periods by assisting with basic cooking tasks as required. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges within the kitchen setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: From 11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
