We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant cooking and kitchen operations, with a keen understanding of food safety and meal preparation. This role is essential in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards and satisfy our customers.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and meal preparation methods.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
Experience not required as full training given
