We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with srock delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties
Support the head chef and kitchen staff with various culinary tasks, ensuring efficient workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the premises, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is delivere, prepared and stored safely.
preparing For the days trade and serve customers for afternoon sales
Participate in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to management
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality meal preparation and presentation.
Skills
Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is preferred But training will be given
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
