Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at NAMO EAT. This role is vital in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring that our dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards. Located in the heart of Brighton, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an award-winning, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are ready for cooking.
Support chefs in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Wash dishes and keep kitchen equipment clean and ready for use.
Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
Help with plating and presentation of dishes before service.
Serve food to customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
Participate in inventory management and stock rotation.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service during busy periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
A passion for food and a willingness to assist across various kitchen tasks.
