Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bon Soiree. In this role, you will support our culinary team in preparing high-quality meals for our clients in the aviation industry. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for excellence in catering.
Responsibilities
Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients such as lemon ties and garnish packs.
Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters.
Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom and walk in fridge.
Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock.
Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques.
We are open from 6am- 10pm 7 days a week. We can offer flexibility with hours if it meets the operationally needs of the business. We will also consider part time, must be a minimum of 20 hours week.
