The Meadows care home are looking for permanent, full-time Kitchen assistant to join our fantastic, hard-working team. As our kitchen assistant, you'll help to provide the food and hospitality that enable us to give our residents exceptional all-round care. You will prepare and serve food to our residents, so some experience in a care environment would be helpful.

We have a full-time contract available, averaging 32 hours per week. Some weekend working is required. You would provide assistance to the chef and assist our residence with their meals at teatime.

What we are looking for in a Kitchen Assistant:



You will work a mix of shifts over 7 days. Shift times are 7am - 2pm or 3pm - 7pm You may have some experience in working in a similar role, but it is not essential Someone who will assist the chef and the rest of the team and create a fulfilling dining experience for our residents You will assist the chef with food preparation Keep workstations clean and tidy You will serve teatime meals to our residents as well as tidying and washing-up You will be compassionate and respectful and able to build relationships with colleagues and the residents we care for
