Job Summary:

As a Key Account Manager at David Watson Transport Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding our key client relationships. You will collaborate with a talented team to provide customised transportation solutions, ensuring that our clients' unique requirements are met with efficiency and precision. Your strategic mindset and outstanding interpersonal skills will drive business growth and maintain our position as a market leader.

Responsibilities:



Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key clients in the transportation sector. Understand clients' specific transportation needs and challenges, and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and execute transportation projects, ensuring seamless service delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries, concerns, and providing timely updates on project statuses. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work to expand our services and revenue streams.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the transportation or logistics industry. Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and develop effective account plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with transport planning/management software/systems.
