Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Junior Workshop Engineer to join our Commercial team at our Cheltenham Head Office. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on, and fast-paced work environment. The position also offers excellent growth potential and the opportunity to contribute to exciting technical projects.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Workshop Engineer will be:



Set up, unbox and configure a variety of technology products, including printers, photocopiers, digital signage displays, mini PCs, and more. Follow the installation schedule provided by the Installation Planner or Operations Manager, ensuring equipment is set up in a logical order and ahead of scheduled installation dates. Ensure all hardware is configured to the required specifications as outlined in the order details. Efficiently manage stock levels for installations and optimise warehouse space. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Report any issues or faults with new equipment promptly to the Installation Manager for resolution. Provide support for installations when necessary, offering assistance due to resource requirements.



About you




Experience or an understanding of configuring, assembling, or dismantling technology products or working within an IT environment. Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Competence in handling electrical and tech products with a strong attention to detail. Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A team player who can also work independently. A willingness to learn. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise.
