We are looking for a

Junior Transport Planner

to join our team in Runcorn. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking to build a career in transport and logistics. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services, working closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and scheduling deliveries, ensuring they run efficiently and on time Monitor daily transport operations and proactively resolve any issues Communicate with drivers to provide clear instructions and updates Liaise with customers to keep them informed about their deliveries Use logistics software to track vehicle movements and optimise routes Support the senior transport team with administrative tasks and reporting Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies

What We're Looking For:

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A keen interest in transport, logistics, or supply chain management IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Any experience with transport management systems is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided
